Dear reader,
After a tumultuous few weeks, I am finally getting back to a more regular schedule this month. I had no idea that a high school graduation could be this busy. We had several events, fourteen out of town guests, a graduation party, and amid it all our water heater busted and partially flooded our basement. We were very fortunate to discover it early on. Not that there is ever a good time for a broken water heater, but this was intense. Regardless, it has been a wonderful time celebrating my 18-year-old and I have been filled with joy, pride and love.
So, to get back into the swing of things, I have scheduled our monthly Creative Hour on Zoom for this Saturday, June 14, 11 am CST.
The Creative Hour is for anyone who would like to connect with other photographers/artists from all over the country, share some work and discuss new or old ideas.
Come join us! Bring your cup of coffee or tea and some new or old work to share. This is a low-pressure environment where we exchange ideas, discuss different approaches, and leave inspired and refreshed. In a world that is filled with upheaval, unrest, and horrific wars, creativity still matters and can bring connection and healing.
I started this monthly hour on Zoom for paid subscribers (the link is below), but please send me a message if a paid subscription isn’t for you and you would still like to join.
I hope to see you there!
Publication in “Catch Light” Magazine
I am very excited to let you know about a publication in Catch Light magazine. This magazine is owned and edited by the wonderful Joy Sussman, and my work with an interview, a six page spread ( I have never been asked this many questions!), is featured in the newest issue. I am showing you a couple of pages. To read the full issue, you can purchase a print copy or PDF file here.
I just received my print copy in the mail, and I must say, I am thrilled. It’s a gorgeous edition of this magazine and I am so grateful to have contributed to it.

Two excepts from the interview:
